Frequently asked questions
How does designing my own gear work?
Three ways: pick a template from the gallery and swap in your team name and colors, describe what you want and let AI generate it from scratch, or upload artwork you already have to print as-is. Every option gets you a free watermarked preview on the actual product before you pay.
What can I put on a design?
Most things — the limits are about other people's intellectual property and a short list of content we won't print. If a design is turned down, we tell you which rule it hit and what to try instead.
Go for it
- Your own team, club, or league name — even if it contains a common word like “raiders”
- Player names, numbers, city and state names, and tournament names
- Cornhole imagery: boards, bags, trophies, backyard and tailgate scenes
- Military, veteran, and patriotic themes
- Beer, backyard, and party humor, and mild profanity
We can't print
- Brand logos and league names (ACL, NFL, Nike, Disney and the like) — including lookalikes
- Real people: celebrities, politicians, or anyone's likeness but your own
- Sexually explicit content, hate or extremist imagery, and graphic violence
- Glorifying hard drugs or illegal weapons
- “In the style of” a specific living artist
What does "human-reviewed every order" mean?
Every purchased design is checked by a real person before it goes to print — not just an automated filter. That catches print-quality issues and confirms you actually have the rights to any artwork you upload or generate. If a design doesn't pass review, you're automatically refunded in full, no back-and-forth required.
Do I need to create a password?
No — there are no passwords on this site, ever. Sign in with Google, or we'll email you a one-time sign-in link. Google is the more dependable of the two: sign-in emails sometimes land in spam, and some work email systems block them before they ever reach you.
What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email support@boardsideapparel.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. Covered claims get a free reprint by default — or a refund if a reprint can't fix it — and there's no need to send anything back. This covers manufacturing defects, print errors, and damage in transit. It doesn't cover the wrong size or color if that's what was selected at checkout, so double-check sizing before you order.
How long does production and shipping take?
Everything is made to order, so there are two stages. Production is typically 3–5 business days after your order clears review, then standard shipping adds about 3–7 business days in transit. Your exact shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay. We ship within the United States only. Those are typical ranges rather than a guaranteed arrival date, and we email you as soon as it ships.
